In video games, Konami Codes are part of popular culture. By pressing a precise sequence of buttons on a controller or keyboard, a secret option is activated. Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A: an almost magical combination, which has become the symbol of a more playful relationship with interfaces. This desire for surprise is now deeply influencing digital culture and social media.

Because we live in digital environments that have become highly legible, sometimes too legible. The same hooks, the same carousels, the same vertical videos: everything seems optimized, yet everything ends up looking the same.
